The pendant chain is set in 18 karat yellow gold whilst the diamond egg is set in 18 karat white gold. The diamond egg is 12x9mm in size and the chain is 45cm in length. In keeping with Fabergé's fondness for delight and surprise, a hidden Mozambican ruby can be found at the back of the pendant.
