A Proposal in Paradise

Getting engaged is one of the most magical moments for a couple, and so preparing to pop the question can be a daunting and nerve racking experience, especially when it comes to choosing just the right ring for your partner.

In March 2016, Chris visited W E Clark and son in Lewes for an appointment with our Senior Sales Consultant. Chris was beginning his search for the perfect engagement ring for Tasha, his partner of 7 years.

Tasha had no idea that Chris was planning a surprise proposal on their forthcoming trip to the Philippines. At his point, Chris knew that he wanted to get something modern and unique, and started his search by looking at three very different rings. It soon became clear that Chris loved the look of a Princess cut diamond and that he wanted the diamond to be surrounded with a halo setting.

We then set about sourcing the ring mount in the purest and rarest of all metals, Platinum and then sourcing a beautiful princess cut diamond, to be the centre of the halo design.

Chris was over the moon with the finished piece and secretly took the engagement ring all the way to the Philippines where on the 3rd of April 2016, he popped the question, on the beautiful Island of Boracay.
