How long have you been working for W.E. Clark & Son?

I will have been working for W.E. Clark & Son for 3 years in July.

What attracted you to the role?

I have always worked in retail and when I saw the job advertised I had to go for it because W.E. Clark & Son has always been such a reputable family jewellers — and the thought of working with such beautiful jewellery was very tempting.

What do you enjoy about the role?

I enjoy many aspects of the role, from selling our beautiful jewellery, to completely starting from scratch with customers who would like a bespoke design to be created. I always love seeing the customers' reaction when they see their finished design for the first time.

What is your favourite gemstone and why?

My favourite gemstone is tanzanite, I love the beautiful blue/purple colour. It is slightly more unheard of than the similarly coloured gemstone sapphire. One of my favourite pieces of tanzanite jewellery is a stunning necklace from our Clark Collection, it features 3.33 carat pear-cut tanzanite with two diamonds set above. It is crafted in 18ct white gold.

Are you studying for any jewellery qualifications at the moment?

I have just completed Jet 1 and Jet 2 and I have just started a Jet Management course

What is your favourite part about working with W.E. Clark & Son customers?

My favourite part of working with our customers is that because we are such a reputable family jewellers, we like to go the extra mile to look after our customers. We have generations of customers that will always come back to us and our customers put a lot of trust in us. They always value our opinion when selling them jewellery and for when we book in repairs.

What do you enjoy about W.E. Clark & Son?

One of my favourite recent experiences was going on a buying trip to Antwerp to hand pick the diamonds that we then set into our Clark Collection jewellery.
