W. E. Clark & Son is a family jewellers with branches situated in Lewes and Eastbourne, East Sussex. You will find our magnificent newly renovated (in 2012) Lewes showroom, located next to the historic Cliffe Bridge in the town centre.

The High Street showroom has a modern boutique look, with beautiful ranges of  jewellery and watches . We stock beautiful items from the following fine names; Links of London, Ti-Sento, Pandora Jewellery, Hot Diamonds and Jersey Pearl. We are proud to be Gold Stockists of the world famous Pandora Jewellery at our 224 High Street, Lewes showroom. In 2005 W. E. Clark & Son acquired Charlwood’s Jewellers, Eastbourne’s oldest established jewellers. Now trading as W.E. Clark & Son, the business continues as it has done since 1883, with some careful modernisation. The showroom has been refitted, and the ‘Clark Jewellery Collection’ has been introduced. You will find the best selection of second-hand jewellery in the area at our Eastbourne branch.

Today, in 2012, the business continues to grow with 15 staff working within the business. Each member of staff is fully trained, many achieving the JET 2 qualification- the Professional Jewellers Diploma. The managers at each of the branches have then gone on to achieve the Professional Gemmology Diploma, ensuring they have a comprehensive knowledge of gemmology. This is essential when dealing with clients, in order that the best service possible is offered.

John and David Clark continue to take the business forward today, as the third and fourth generation of the Clark family to run the business. John Clark is a Fellow of the Gemmoligical Association of Great Britain, and has over 40 years experience in the trade. David Clark has achieved both the Professional Jewellers Diploma and the Gemmology Diploma. David Clark is currently working to achieve the final part of his FGA qualification, having achieved the advanced practical element in 2011.

W.E. Clark & Son has been a member of the Lewes Chamber of Commerce for many years, John Clark is a past president of the Chamber.

In April 2012 after 6 years on the Lewes Chamber of Commerce executive committed, David Clark was delighted to be voted as President. David will bring his experience from running a business and to lead the Chamber, offering support to over 800 businesses and organisations in the Lewes area.
