W. E. Clark & Son is a family run jewellers with two jewellery shops in Lewes and one jewellery shop in Eastbourne, East Sussex, UK. Building on a heritage of service and quality dating back to 1819 and with a strong passion for fine jewellery and gemstones, the latest generation of the Clark family is evolving the business: most recently publishing a comprehensive online jewellery store; we proudly design and make our own range of unique fine jewellery called the Clark Collection; and we recently incorporated Computer Aided Design (CAD) techniques during the design stage of our bespoke jewellery design service… Whilst we develop the business, we keep the values which have got us where we are today firmly at the forefront of our minds – quality, service and personal attention. We also continue to provide jewellery repairs and watch repairs onsite from our premises – an increasingly rare occurrence on the high street nowadays.

Our 224 High Street, Lewes jewellery showroom has a modern boutique look, with some beautiful jewellery, and watch brands. We stock fantastic items from the following fine names; Storywheels, Links of London, Ti Sento, London Road Jewellery, Pandora Jewellery, Swatch watches and Juicy Couture plus many more.

Our 1 Cliffe High Street jewellery shop is our original location, now proudly showcasing our Clark Collection – fine jewellery items which we design and make ourselves in our workshop on the premises. The Clark Collection is totally unique to WE Clark and Son and contains some stunning fine jewellery.

Our Eastbourne jewellery shop, originally Charlwood’s Jewellers – Eastbourne’s oldest established jewellers dating back to 1883, includes our Clark Collection, stocks many fine jewellery brands and provides the best selection of second-hand jewellery in the area.

Jewellery repairs are carried out by our master jeweller based in our workshop at the back of our 1 Cliffe High Street, Lewes showroom. Our jeweller has over 35 years experience repairing jewellery. With the workshop on the premises we can offer a very quick turnaround – usually less than 48 hours and we provide free estimates for more complicated repairs. Our Eastbourne shop can provide advice about jewellery repairs and will be pleased to arrange repairs for you.

Watch repairs and maintenance are offered by our expert watch repair technician who is based in our Eastbourne showroom. We also offer watch pressure testing so that after a battery change, we can test the seal to ensure that it is still watertight.

Our bespoke jewellery design service is about creating something truly sensational and totally unique – a piece designed to suit your own style and personality. Our service draws on years of experience and expertise in gemmology and includes personal consultations with David Clark P J Gem Dip Cert GA who will oversee the entire process.
